Mary Elizabeth McDonough is probably best known for her role as Erin Walton on CBS’s The Waltons. After a number of guest starring roles on television series like The Love Boat and Picket Fences in the 1980s and 1990s, McDonough is finding new success as Mrs. Wilhoite on CBS’s The New Adventures of Old Christine with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

McDonough believes that a leaking silicone breast implant is the cause of her lupus, though the Lupus Foundation of America reports that researchers cannot link breast implants with the disease.
