The famous British singer, whose full name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, was diagnosed with discoid lupus when he was child. What could be considered trademark scarring on his face is a result of his illness.
Seal had attained moderate success until 1994, when his self-titled album Seal debuted. One song from that album, Kiss from a Rose, was featured on the Batman Forever soundtrack and became a smash hit. Seal took home Grammies for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for the song.
In 2005, Seal married supermodel Heidi Klum, and the two are parents to a pair of boys. Seal is the stepfather of Klum’s daughter.
