Find an Obstetrician

Based on suggestions from your healthcare provider, friends, and family, begin your search for an obstetrician. Try to find an obstetrician who is familiar with lupus or high-risk pregnancies or both. If you are already pregnant, make sure your obstetrician is aware of your lupus, all medications taken for lupus or anything else you feel he or she might need to know. Ideally, your obstetrician will be able to work with your rheumatologist toward a successful pregnancy.
