Question: How long will I live?
Answer: There is no cure for lupus, so this is a question many newly diagnosed patients ask –- or want to ask. Between 80% to 90% of people living with lupus today can expect to live a normal lifespan. Most people who die from lupus die due to complications, such as kidney failure or heart disease.
