Question: Can Stress Make My Symptoms Worse?
Answer:

More studies need to be conducted, but stress is believed to be associated with lupus flares and some symptoms of lupus, as well as many kinds of arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Many studies have shown that certain techniques, such as meditation, can significantly lower stress, chronic pain and anxiety.
