I have Lupus. I’m still getting used to the fact. Although, I’m reminded that I do indeed have it everyday. It’s been over 8months now. I’m learning more about my body as well as the disease each day. I have great Dr. and family support. Yet, this seems to be a lonely disease. My husband & 4 boys are effected greatly by my disorder. They are truely wonderful, helpful, and understanding. Noone understands the impact that chronic fatigue and joint pain can cause so mu8h dismay. I’ve been unable to work. That also puts a financial strain on my family. I seem to be in a cobstant “flare up”. Hoping with my new knowledge and medications I can be in”remission” soon. I do everything my Dr.’s ask of me. Maybe we’ll even have a CURE FOR LUPUS!
Realizing the potential symptoms can make all the difference. Unfortunately there are so many people who choose to ignore the signs. This is a really great post, hopefully this made a real impact. Clinical research is being conducted for lupus has also been making a difference. Further clinical trials are working towards developing better treatments, hopefully we won’t have to wait long.
